Was invited by TVRI to be the guest for their “Cantik” program hosted by Mikha Tambayong to inspire their viewers – who are mostly youth and women – to start contributing positively to Indonesia.
We discussed about Taman Bacaan Pelangi [Rainbow Reading Gardens], how it started, how it worked, its programs, challenges, and its vision. What makes this one different from the other TV interviews I have is… they also invite my Mom, Yuriah Tanzil, to be on screen, too! To my mom, the host asked questions about my childhood, such as what I was like as a child, my hobbies, etc. Being on TV with my Mom was definitely something. Thank God I didn’t cry. Hahaha.. She was the one who made me who I am today. She inspired me to always care of others, help other people, and stay grounded.
